Mar 20.The best massage treatment I ever received. I hurt my arm a few days ago and was given hydrocodone and ibuprofen for pain by the hospital. I have never had so much arm and shoulder pain in my life. I visited my chiropractor and my Medical Doctor to no avail. After six days of intense throbbing pain, I called Heavenly Massage. I met made my appointment this morning and was in by 12:00. Evalina was a great hostess but the true credit goes to Ivona.

Ivona met with me for 5 minutes to discuss my pain and then she proceeded to work me over. This 100 lb woman worked me over so well that my pain is completely gone. She knew exactly where the problem areas were and how to take care of them. This woman is a credit to your establishment. I urge everyone to request Ivona.

Oct 14.I was reading the previous comments regarding the service in heavenly massage, let me tell you, if you don't make enough money to pay for a massage, don't get one! But please don't be complaining or rating this place based on the prices, Heavenly massage is one of the most cheapest places I've ever been and in my opinion they have a decent customer services, I mean, I don't know what are you expecting from the recepcionist but I don't think they should be getting on their knees to receive the customers, lol.Anyway I highly recommend this place for a nice massage.
I think they should just try not to make noise during the massage session, that's all not a big deal and make sure the shower is always nice, fresh and clean. May 25.I have gone to this massage spa a couple of times basically for the low prices. I did find a good person, Valla, that does a really nice massage. However, I just had my 2nd encounter of poor customer service this past Sunday - thus my review makes it to the web.
I overlooked the first 'oops', but now I have to warn others.First bad expererience - They had recently switched to cash only for tips if you used a coupon. I did not know that, nor was it disclosed over the phone when I made the appt.
When I gave the girl my cc she proceeded to yell - and I mean YELL - at me when I told her that I didn't have any cash and had no way of giving a tip to the therapist. Obviously, I asked for the manager. She refused to tell me who the manager was, the manager's name, or when the manager would be in next. She said that I was not privvy to that information. She continued to berate me in front of allll the customers who sat there stone-still with wide eyes.
I had been on their email mailing list for coupons, etc. I was removed. She did not tell me I was removed, but I figured it out when I stopped receiving them. Valla, the good prices, and the proximity of the spa to my home lured me back.My second poor experience was Sunday.
I went in for my 9AM appt. At 9:10, I was concerned. At 9:15, I was being ignored. At 9:20, I ask when I will be taken back. At 9:25 the lady begins to tell me a story about how MY therapist didn't know she had to work today and will be late.
She then asked me to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for my massage. Clearly, I'm irritiated, but hey - sh. happens so I think to myself, well - let's see what they will give me in return for my lost time. The answer to that is nothing.
I asked to be upgraded to a 90 min. Answer - not for free.
I asked for a discount on the massage I was receiving. We don't do that. I asked for a 70 minute massage. I asked for a free product.
Clearly, I was getting anything. She did say she could give me an extra 5 minutes for no extra charge. Fine, I'll take it. I then asked her why she did not want to ensure that I remain a faithful customer. She replied by saying that in order to get me anything to compensate me for the loss of time and aggravation - she would have to call the home office and explain the whole thing and that was too much for her to do.
I also asked her why the 'management' doesn't have a 'basket-o-stuff' to give out to customers in these types of situations. She said they don't have that because it doesn't happen often. Will I go back?
Do mistakes happen? Of course they do. But when a company refuses to right a wrong - it makes me take my business elsewhere. Nov 01.I have had many massages before (including at my gym) and the Schaumburg location is the noisiest place I have ever been. I could hear every door, everyone talking at the front desk and cabinets banging the entire hour. It was impossible to relax and the therapist (sorry, don't remember her name) seemed to be very rushed. She was very rough with the sheets and blankets Also, the bed had a very scratchy towel on top of the sheet (I really hope they change the sheets in between clients, but it doesn't seem like they do).
At the end of the massage, the therapist brought me the nastiest warm towel to wipe off all of the oil! I know that Heavenly massage is less expensive than most spas and you get what you pay for, but quiet and clean should be standard.

Sep 22.I WAS INJURED - DO NOT GO TO HEAVENLY MASSAGE!Had a massage at the Buff Grv location.
There were 3 customer svc people at the front desk, all of whom were gossiping with a male customer by shouting across the 'relaxing' waiting room. I wasn't asked to complete a new client intake (medical history) which is required for certified massage therapists - and, unfortunately, didn't notice at first because I was so put off by the customer 'service.' I was injured during the massage and spent many, many hours trying to speak to a manager to get my money back (not to mention medical bills paid). In 8 attempts, no one would give me any info to escalate my complaint to the GM/Owner, Jimmy Bakopoulos, or anyone else. Finally, at the owner's instruction, they informed me they wouldn't give me a refund unless I signed a document stating I'd received the refund (how's that for a catch-22?) and a waiver releasing them from responsibility. I've filed a complaint with BGPD, the Natl Massage certifying board, the Better Businss Bureau, and the Village of BG. Have had several massages, facials and manicures. For the price, you will not find a better deal.
You don't get all of the frills of a typical salon/spa but you also can get a massage for around 1/2 the price you would pay at a more upscale place. The ladies are all very nice and the salon is clean. The also offer coupons in the local papers occasionally. I had a manicure, facial and deep tissue massage today for $100. Can't beat that!
My one missing star is the pedicures. They don't have foot baths; they do them in a large bowl. I have been going to the Schaumburg location for around 8 months. Have had several massages, facials and manicures. For the price, you will not find a better deal.

Jun 12.I am completely disappointed of my first visit to Heavenly Massage in Schaumburg.I started having a bad feeling when I was talking to the receptionist on the phone to book the appointment. She sounds so eager to get off the phone. Since I am getting three services done, I was asking some general questions such as how long should I expect to stay there, anything particular will help to improve the experience. Then I could not find the place and called to ask for directions.
I asked that if I am going west on Schaumburg Road, which direction should I turn when I get to Barrington Road. The receptionist said??turn right?, which is wrong. So after driving through a few blocks, I turned back and finally found the place.I wish there will be someone explain to me which procedures will be first, or ask me if I want to take the steam shower before or after.
Nobody did.I had facial first. That was average, not much to talk about. Then the same person who did facial did the eyebrow waxing for me. That??s when the horrible thing happened. I felt stings but thought that was normal.
The lights were dimmed and I could not see clearly, so I assumed that the stings will go away.I went for massage after which is nice. The lady asked me how I felt, if the pressure is good.
I did have a good massage here.I went into the shower room after the massage. That??s when I found out my face is red. Some places are from removing the white heads. But the parts between my eyes, right above my noose looks burned.
I went out to the receptionist after the shower and talked to them about this. They said??Oh, it is just irritation, will go away? I can see that they are nerves too. They asked another person who does facial looked at me. She said that there is nothing that she can do, and applied some aloe lotion on the red spots. It stings a lot when she applied the lotion. They blamed the redness on I had massage face down right after the facial.
Now it is second day, it is obvious that the waxing took the top layer of skin at those spots. Any facial expression hurts and I hope that it will not leave any scale on my face. For now, I have a few red areas around nose (looked like that I scraped on something) and I can not wear any make up.I am so upset with this visit and I will never go back again.
